About my images

I explore what's already there — a bend in the light, an unexpected resemblance, an expression most people would walk past.

The images begin in ordinary places: streets, margins, the unremarkable corners of daily life. I stay when something catches my eye and look for the frame that holds the moment intact.

Sometimes what I find is funny. Sometimes it's tender, or quietly devastating. I don't choose the register — I just don't look away.

The images don't ask for belief. Only attention.
